Tulalip Casino - Aug. 21-25

Dale had a four day weekend so right after work on Friday we headed south once more with Allison and Tony - this time to Tulalip Casino. We had learned that if your staying in the RV parking at the back of the Casino you can get a pass key from the hotel desk and use the pool and hot tub so we thought we’d give it a try. We both set out about the same time but even though they live further from the border, they have Nexus, so it was a race to see who could get to the meeting spot in Blaine first. We won by about five minutes! After stocking up on “supplies” we headed south to Marysville. We spent a couple of great days - we had fun at the casino, Happy Hours and morning Mimosa Breakfasts on “The Patio”, nice dinners out and a whole Saturday shopping at the local stores as well as at Roy Robinson RV Centre just up the road. We oohed and aahed at the new rigs but once more couldn’t find a single one that had enough whistles and bells to make us trade in our Navions!

Good Times on "The Patio"

Sadly, Allison & Tony had to head back on Sunday but we still had a couple of more day’s to lounge around the pool, sit in the hot tub, visit with neighbours on “The Patio” and do a little shopping. We replaced some more of our interior lights with LED’s to cut down on battery load while dry camping and put in a metal tile surround around the stove area to make it look as cool as the new Rigs we’d looked at! Once more we headed north on Tuesday - all fun must come to an end sometime.
