Right after school on Friday, we headed EAST this time, with Kelly & the kiddlebeans for the Interior Competition in Kamloops. We arrived in time to find the venue which conveniently had a Home Depot across the street - our home for the night. We spent the next day at the competition where everyone danced well and came away with a bunch of medals.
Then the whole of Thistlebrook Academy of Highland Dance went out to dinner at Red Robin. We all had fun with Miss Meghan and Mama Pike celebrating Amanda’s birthday.
We spent the night at Home Depot once more and returned to the Tournament Capital Centre for the Sunday competition. We were finished by about 1:00 PM and headed off down the Coquihalla towards home. Another fun getaway!
