WIT Club and Tulalip - Sept. 18-22

Dale’s next 4 day weekend coincided with the next outing of WIT Club - The Washington State Rally held at Fidalgo Bay. We got together with other Winnebago members and of course Allison and Tony for a fun weekend Hawaiian Style. I did a “Convenient Convection”  Cooking Seminar for the members that went over really well. It was well attended and lots of good feedback from attendees.

Allison and I went to another seminar dealing with RV upkeep that was very informative. Unfortunately Dale was suffering from a mild case of Shingles so he had a hard time enjoying himself. Saturday morning we woke to find a leak from the toilet - something that we’d had on and off a few times before so Dale and Tony decided to track it down. They dismantled the toilet and we headed off to Camping World for a new seal. We learned they didn’t carry them - all we needed is a regular seal from any hardware store so off to the nearest Home Depot we went. But first we did a little shopping - a new clear sewer connector for us both and a “Fireplace” ceramic heater for us. Now I have one more thing the Big Rigs have - a fireplace! We returned to the Rigs and re-installed the toilet - just in time for “Happy Hour” and dinner!

Sunday morning Allison & Tony headed home and we continued south again for a couple of more days of R&R at Tulalip Casino.
