| Happy Hour on "The Patio" |
We didn’t head out over the long weekend because Dale had to work but he had Thursday & Friday off so we headed south once more right after he came home on Wednesday - again to Tulalip to chill out around the pool. We had a relaxing two days and then Thursday evening Kara and the girls came down to join us.
We spent some time in the pool with the girls after breakfast on Friday, had lunch at the buffet and then Dale headed home in Kara’s van for work on the weekend while the rest of us continued on south to Kelso Wa. to a “new to us” Highland Games. Even though we set out from Marysville around 1:00 PM it took over six hours for the three hour trip because of traffic! With the two hour stop for dinner and to calm little Miss Dallyce who had had enough of sitting in her car seat we didn’t get there until close to 9:00 PM. We joined Kelly and the redheads who had come down with her In-Laws Barb & Al who were visiting from Thunder Bay, Ontario in their truck & 5th. Wheel. It was nice of them to save us a space beside them on the grounds.

| My Winning Dancers! |
We got up Saturday morning and getting Gwynnevere ready for dancing we realized we had no battery power - that meant no water, no lights, even no fridge because it relied on the battery to spark the propane to run it! I knew it had been a “crawl” there the night before but surely the batteries should have recharged from the three days of boon docking that we’d just done in Tulalip! Thinking that it could be a problem relay switch like we’d had before or even the batteries just being old we decided to just live with it. I didn’t want to have to deal with repair decisions or new battery buying. We spent the day at the Games and then headed back to Tulalip for the night. Once we set off it was a three hour drive and we’d get there about 5:30pm.or so - just in time to have dinner in the Casino, have a swim and shower at the pool and then off to bed - no need for power! A little traffic delay around Tacoma so we arrived about 7:00 PM. We went straight to the pool where we called for poolside food service - what LUXURY! The little ones had a great time swimming and LOVED eating right at the pool! Everyone had a hot shower, toileted and got straight into Jammie’s and we then went back to the Rig. We used portable LED lights we keep in the Rig to see with and soon everyone was fast asleep.
