After coming back to civilization, into Bullhead City, AZ. we came, and over the bridge into Laughlin, NV. Dale had been there a few times with his brother Bob but I had never been. We headed to the top of the strip at Harrah’s and worked our way down! We have it down to a fine art now - sign up for a “loyalty” card, get their “freebies” or other promo, spend $20. to see how “nice” they are to us and on to the next one! At the Colorado Belle I used my $5. free slot play and $20 but won nothing. Dale lost his right away.
On the way to the door, I saw a Dolly Parton machine. I’d never seen Dolly before but I like her music so I had to put in $20. Winner - $72.99! I cashed it in right away but still feeling lucky went back to put in another $40. Jackpot! I cashed out at $230. Let’s move on!

We had lunch at In-N-Out Burger, my first time - I know why our friends Kelly and Darrin miss California so much now.

We did the same at two more casino’s - winning nothing at the Riverside but we did enjoy their classic car museum before heading over to the Aquarius. I lost my $10 free play right away but saw a D&D machine on the way to the door so in went $40. - I won $77 but it had "the Guy" on it - not the machine I like.
The "Girl" one was being played on by someone already so as soon as that person left I cashed out and moved over. Smart move - $343.68!!! Dale was playing cards so I joined him and we spent the evening there. Dale lost $100. and I lost $200. but we had a great evening and once more we leave with our shirts and Henry! We spent the night in the RV lot at the Riverside, had 1/2 price buffet breakfast that was one of the worst buffets I've ever been to. We decided to try our luck on Dolly once more so up the strip we went - Bonanza - another big win!
