Monday about 8:30 we woke up to beautifully sunny warmth once more. We had a mushroom, green pepper, and Swiss cheese omelette with toast, tea and coffee. Dale cleaned and loaded the outside while I battened down some hatches as well as Blogging the weekend while we still had WiFi. It took a while because of all the things that we had done - Las Vegas is FUN city! Finally at 12:06 we were ready to pull out - only six minutes past check-out time - Oh Well!

| Welcome! |
 |
| Goodbye! |
We headed east on Boulder Hwy - one and a half blocks! Little did we know the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” was so close. We quickly pulled into a strip mall and I walked back a 1/4 block to take photos. Lucky for us there was a Starbucks in the mall for us to pick up a Vegas mug for Kyla’s collection. Saved - there would be heck to pay if we’d come home without one! We headed east on Boulder through Henderson toward Arizona so we could add another sticker to our door map. Lo and behold - a sign - Hoover Dam - 13 Miles! Our next stop.

Coming down the hill - it looks like you're about
to drop right into Lake Mead. |
We followed the road past Lake Mead and joined the thousands of other tourists up the new pathway and Bridge, we drove over the top of the dam into the Arizona side where it became a dead end.
 |
| Hoover Dam Sign - LOL! |
 |
| The new walkway to the Bridge Viewpoint |
 |
| Front View of Hoover Dam from the middle of the Bridge - Nevada side. |
We had to turn back over the Dam to the Nevada side to get back onto the Highway - how dumb is that!
 |
| Back of the Dam from Arizona Side |
We had lunch of sandwiches in the parking lot on the Arizona side, leaving at 3:30 and headed over the dam to join the highway on the Nevada side at 2:30 and went over the bridge back into Arizona where it became 3:30 again!

| Arizona Time! |
 |
| Nevada Time - We didn't know if we were coming or going! |
We passed some beautiful desert country and into Kingsman, Az. We got diesel and propane as well as refilled the water tank. While stopping to take photos of the Vegas sign I noticed water dripping underneath but Dale said it was probably just overflow from the tanks just being filled. When we came down from the Hoover Dam bridge walk there was now a big puddle under the Rig. The water level indicator inside now read 1/2 full - he hadn’t closed the drain valve tight enough when he filled it and we’d dripped half our water away! OOOPS!

| Arizona Desert Sunset - Beautiful! |
We carried on to Yucca, AZ. where there was a rest area. We had dinner of Thai noodles and leftover Pork roast at 6:00 PST or 7:00 Arizona time and then a good nights rest after some TV.
