We woke about 8:00 and tea and coffee. I went down to the lounge to get good WiFi to post the blog for the last couple of days while Dale walked Henry. Dale had breakfast and then spent sometime polishing the now clean rig. I did a little organizing inside. We then walked over to Walmart right across the street. We needed an extension cord to plug in the new lights Dale had bought (and a little more wine!). When we got back, we had a snack and then went down to the pool to swim (Dale) and lay in the sun (Me). About 3:00 pm we headed back to the rig while I got a start on dinner. We had planned to have spaghetti that we hadn’t had the night before but while frying the ground beef for the sauce I decided to make Shepherds Pie instead. It was soon ready but still too early to eat we decided to go over to the casino and cook it when we got back.
There was someone playing on “MY” machine so I tried 3 others losing all of my $40. in a half hour. (I know we’re really high rollers)! Dale broke even on his so we decided to go back to eat. As we were going to the exit we had to pass my Dungeons & Dragons and it was now empty. I said I wanted to try another $20. and payoff again - $167.
| Candlelight & Wine |
We had a nice candlelight & wine dinner (No - in the rig - I’m not going to waste a good Shepherds Pie!!!) We Facetalked Kasey (at Kara’s where pandemonium was reigning as usual) and then Dillon (at home where there was peace and quiet - although he did say Kelly and the kids had just left.) We walked Henry and then went to bed to watch “The Red Tent” (a recommendation by my pal Gloria) that Dale had put on CD. I fell asleep half way through because I was so tired - it must be all this hard work relaxing and off course the sunshine!
I'm not reading a lot of starbucks visits... And think of the promo 'buck' joke you're missing with it too! Glad you're having fun, and enjoy Rod Stewart. I check for postcards everyday.... Hint hint
